Part 2 – Kayaking from Hot Springs Cove to Ucluelet

Part 2 of 3: This part details the 90km plus journey from the Northern end of Flores Island (where part 1 leaves you) all the way south to Ucluelet. It was an exciting and beautiful portion and the part we were most nervous about because of the long, exposed stretches without any possible landing spots. At 45km of exposed coastline between Tofino and Ucluelet, it is one of the longest exposed stretches (without any alternative route) on the whole BC coastline. We even got to paddle with a pod of orcas for about 2 hours one morning – watch for their sprays in the opening video clips!
